You know what I’m talking about. The transformers, insulators, and other garbage that eminate huge amounts of static. They are all over the neighborhood. Years ago I attempted to get something done about it, but nothing happened. One of the AEP guys who came out was a ham. I’m betting he thought he knew [...] Now I really need to replace the 2m Ringo Ranger 2 antenna that I have up on the tower with a good scanner antenna (likely from www.dpdproductions.com). Also on the list in the future is a few PAR filters (one to kill WTOV and one to the paging transmitter) and a Stridesberg 4-port active [...] What the hell is that, you say? It’s a PCI card and breakout box that accepts four separate analog inputs (and also provides four separate analog outputs if you like). This baby is gonna allow me to put all of the scanner feeds online at once, and add more, while only having to use a single [...] A buddy of mine sent me this one.
